Marcos has spent over 10 years in venture capital, investing in AI Infrastructure, Defense, and B2B Software, with recent notable investments in VAST Data, HavocAI, and Kindo.

Before Vinthera, he was a Partner at Drive Capital, the largest venture firm headquartered outside of San Francisco and New York, with $2.2B+ in AUM. At Drive, he led investments in autonomous defense, AI infrastructure, and security platforms.

Marcos starter his career as a founder, building Artelisted, an online marketplace connecting emerging artists with buyers. After running it for 3 years, he transitioned to the venture investing – first at Lavrock Ventures, then spending 6 years at Revel Partners, where he focused on early-stage B2B SaaS and marketplaces, backing companies like Ro, Snyk, Lockstep (acquired by Sage), Lawyaw (acquired by Clio), AcreTrader, Percent, Bliq, Curacity, and Tenovos, among others.
